The work request detail panel
Metrics, request details, samples and testing, and the panel actions.
Clicking a work request opens a panel showing everything on the job.
The metric strip
Samples, Worksheets, Awaiting review and Reports — the request in four numbers.
Request details
The linking and workflow information captured when the request was raised: client, job, location, type, lodged date, due date, who it is assigned to and the client reference. Fields left blank show as Not recorded.
Samples and testing
The working area of the panel. Worksheet progress is grouped by sample, so each sample appears with its reference, material badge and the tests booked against it.
Each test row shows its name, its method, and a status dropdown — pending, tested, checked or approved. Changing a test's status here is how work moves through the laboratory.
Tests showing Method not assigned have been booked without a specific standard. Assign one before the result is issued.
The actions
Three buttons along the bottom:
- Close — closes the panel
- Generate Report — produces the laboratory report for this request
- Edit Request — reopens the request details for editing
Add Samples sits with the samples heading, and each sample carries its own Worksheet button.
