The Dashboard
Operations overview, headline cards, quick add, growth chart and live jobs map.
The Dashboard is the first screen you see when you sign in. It answers one question: what needs attention today?
Operations overview
The header shows today's date and three counts:
- Upcoming scheduled — jobs booked but not yet started
- In progress — jobs currently running
- Completed — jobs finished, all time
The headline cards
Three cards sit below the overview. Each one is clickable and takes you to the underlying register, already filtered.

If a number looks wrong, click through — the register behind it is the source of truth.
Quick Add
The Quick Add buttons in the top-right create the three most common records without navigating first:
- Job — opens the Create Job wizard
- Project — opens the new project form
- Client — opens the new client wizard
Business growth
A twelve-month chart plotting jobs scheduled against projects created, with totals for the period. Use it to spot seasonal patterns or a drop in new work.
Live jobs map
A map of today's jobs that have a mapped project location. Three toggles filter what's plotted:
- Active — jobs running now
- Done — jobs completed today
- Upcoming — jobs still to start
If the map says no jobs scheduled for today have mapped coordinates, it means today's jobs exist but their projects have no saved latitude and longitude. Add coordinates on the project record and they will appear. See Creating a project for how.
