The test method library

Every AS, AS/NZS and ASTM method available in GeoCRM.

The Test method dropdown holds every standard available when booking a worksheet.

Soil classification and preparation

Method Test
AS/NZS 2891.14.2 Asphalt Field Density — Nuclear Gauge

Combined worksheets

Two entries combine several standards into a single worksheet, because the tests are performed together:

  • AS 1289 5.1.1 STD & 5.4.1 & 5.8.1 & 2.1.1 — Compaction Control Test
  • AS 1289 5.7.1 & 5.8.1 & 2.1.1 — Compaction Control — Hilf Rapid

These are the standard field compaction combinations: a field density, a moisture content, a laboratory relationship and the resulting ratio, recorded on one sheet.

A note on CBR

AS 1289 6.1.1 is the laboratory CBR. Where a specification calls for it, a DCP-derived CBR estimate does not satisfy the requirement — see Reading the interpretation in Field Testing.
