Equipment tracks field assets, vehicles and calibrated instruments.
The metrics
| Metric | Meaning |

| All equipment | Every asset |
| Available | Not currently assigned |
| Assigned | Held by a custodian |
| Needs attention | Registration or certification expiring or expired |
Needs attention is the one to watch. Using an instrument past its calibration date invalidates the results taken with it.
Searching and filtering
Search matches on name, serial, asset code, brand or model. Filter by category and status.
Reading the register

Equipment on jobs
Assets can be reserved against a job in the Create Job wizard, under Equipment. That connects the asset to the work it was used on.
