Report templates
The supplied templates, system versus custom, duplicating and syncing.
Templates set the starting structure for a new report. Manage them in Settings → Report templates.

System versus custom
System templates are supplied with GeoCRM and cannot be edited directly. Custom templates are yours, and can be edited and deleted.
Creating your own
Two routes:
- Duplicate a system template, then edit the copy — the easiest way to start from a known-good structure
- New Template to build from scratch
Duplicating is almost always the better option.
Editing
Custom templates show both Edit and Duplicate. System templates show only Duplicate.
Sync Templates
Sync Templates refreshes the system templates, picking up any updates supplied with the application. It does not affect your custom templates.
Changing a template later
The template sets the starting structure only. Once a report is created you can add, remove and reorder sections freely — changing the template afterwards does not restructure existing reports.
