The log preview and Borehole PDF
The engineering log sheet, its columns and generating the PDF.
The Log preview tab shows the full engineering log sheet for the current location — the document a reviewing engineer reads.
The header block
Your organisation name and the sheet title, then the project details: client, project, location, project number, final depth and who logged it. The location box on the right repeats the location ID, log set reference and status.
The columns
Reading left to right:

Every column is populated from the Data tabs — you never type directly onto the sheet.
Reading it
The header bar reports what the sheet contains, for example 3 layers · 4 samples · 2 tests. The sheet is wider than the screen, so scroll horizontally to inspect the full width.
Generating the PDF
Borehole PDF in the top bar renders the sheet, and the download button beside it saves it. The PDF is the issued deliverable — the on-screen preview is for checking before you generate.
Before you generate
Check the reference systems in the Studio footer, confirm the ground level is right, and make sure the engineering state reflects where the log actually is. A sheet generated from a Draft log is watermarked as such.
