The docket register

Metrics, search, the workflow and reporting filters, and the columns.

The docket register is where you track completion, sign-off, reporting and invoicing in one view.

The metrics

Five counts across the top:

Metric Meaning
All dockets Every docket in the workspace
Open Not yet completed
Signed Signed off on site
Awaiting invoice Signed but not yet invoiced
Reporting in progress Currently being written up

Awaiting invoice is the number that costs you money if you ignore it.

Searching

The search box matches on docket, project, job, client, invoice or address.

The two filters

  • All workflow states — filter by field and commercial progress
  • All reporting states — filter by reporting progress

Use them together to answer specific questions, for example which signed dockets still have no report?
