The docket register
Metrics, search, the workflow and reporting filters, and the columns.
The docket register is where you track completion, sign-off, reporting and invoicing in one view.
The metrics
Five counts across the top:
| Metric | Meaning |
|---|---|
| All dockets | Every docket in the workspace |
| Open | Not yet completed |
| Signed | Signed off on site |
| Awaiting invoice | Signed but not yet invoiced |
| Reporting in progress | Currently being written up |
Awaiting invoice is the number that costs you money if you ignore it.
Searching
The search box matches on docket, project, job, client, invoice or address.
The two filters
- All workflow states — filter by field and commercial progress
- All reporting states — filter by reporting progress
Use them together to answer specific questions, for example which signed dockets still have no report?
