The reports register
Metrics, search, columns and the two kinds of report.
The Reports module holds documents built in the Report Builder — narrative engineering reports that assemble text, figures, logs, test results and calculations into something you can issue.
The metrics

Searching
Search matches on reports, projects, jobs or templates.
Reading the register
| Column | Shows |

| Report | Report title with its RB reference underneath |
| Project | Project name and number |
| Job & template | The job, and the template it was built from |
| Status | Draft or approved |
Reports titled Untitled report were created but never named — worth tidying, since the title is what appears on the cover page.
Two kinds of report
Don't confuse these:
- Reports (this module) — built by hand, narrative documents
- Lab Reports — generated from a laboratory work request
