The client workspace
Metric cards, the client profile, recent activity and the related record tabs.
The client workspace is everything you know about one client on a single screen.
The header
Shows the client type badge, their status (for example Customer), business number, billing address and when the record was last updated.
The metric cards
Five counts across the top:
- Projects — connected projects
- Active jobs — running now, with the total underneath
- Dockets — with how many are signed
- Reports — with how many are delivered
- Contacts — related people
The tabs
Overview
Two panels:
- Client profile — the full commercial and communication record: display name, both emails, both phones, website, business numbers and billing address
- Recent activity — the latest work connected to this client, newest first, covering job activity, dockets opened and projects updated. This is the fastest way to answer what's been happening with this client?
Projects, Jobs, Dockets, Reports
Each tab is the standard register for that record type, filtered to this client. They behave exactly like the full registers — search, sort, columns — so see Working with lists.
Contacts
The individual people at this client: who to call, and their role. Distinct from the client record itself, which holds the organisation's own details.
