The builder interface
The three columns, live preview and auto-save.
The builder has three columns.
Left — Outline and Resources
Two tabs:
- Outline — the document structure
- Resources — job resources you can insert
Centre — the preview
A live preview of the document as it will print, starting with the cover page. It updates as you edit.
Right — settings
Context-sensitive. Selecting the report itself shows Report details; selecting a section shows Section settings.
Auto-save
The builder saves as you work. The header shows the report title, its reference, the project and a Saved indicator. The settings panel notes changes save automatically — there is no save button.
