The public docket
Producing a client-facing copy of a docket and what to check first.
Public docket on the docket detail panel produces a client-facing view of the docket.
What it's for
Clients often want a copy of the field record — what was done, when, by whom, and the signatures. The public docket gives them that without needing a GeoCRM account.
Using it
Open the docket and click Public docket. Share the resulting view with your client.
What to check first
Because this is client-facing, check before you share:
- Work entries are complete and correctly described
- Photos are ones you're happy for the client to see
- Both signatures are captured
- The docket is otherwise finished
A docket shared while still Open and Unsigned will show as incomplete.
