Finding your way around

The sidebar, breadcrumbs, the user menu, help and quick add.

The sidebar

Everything in GeoCRM is reached from the sidebar on the left, which is grouped into seven areas:

  • Workspace — Dashboard, Scheduling, GIS Map
  • Management — Clients, Projects, Jobs, Dockets
  • Resources — Team members, Equipment, Media library
  • Laboratory — Work Requests, Status Board, Lab Reports
  • Field Testing — DCP Tests, Ground Logs
  • Reporting — Reports
  • Tools — Calculations

The sidebar scrolls if your screen is short. Use the toggle button at the top of the page to collapse it and give yourself more room — useful on the GIS Map and in the Report Builder.

Every page shows a breadcrumb trail under the page title, starting at GeoCRM. Click any step to go back up.

Detail pages also have an explicit back link — for example Back to client register or Back to project register — which returns you to the list you came from.

The user menu

Your initials in the top-right corner open a menu with:

  • My Profile — your personal details and password
  • GeoCRM Settings — workspace configuration (administrators)
  • Sign out

Help and shortcuts

The ? button at the bottom-left of the sidebar opens a small help panel with the global search shortcut and a link to open search directly.

Quick add

The Dashboard has a Quick Add panel in the top-right with three buttons — Job, Project and Client — for creating the most common records without navigating first.
