The 3D subsurface model
Orbiting the model, display controls and what it does not infer.
The 3D model tab renders the investigation's logged intervals in three dimensions.
Moving around
Drag to orbit, scroll or pinch to zoom.
Controls

The header reports what is being drawn, for example Recorded geographic coordinates · 4 locations · 14 intervals.
The material legend
A legend in the corner lists every material in the model with its hatching.
The limitation that matters
The model shows logged intervals only. No strata are inferred between locations.
This is a deliberate and important distinction. The holes are drawn where they are, with what was logged in them. GeoCRM does not join them up into surfaces or volumes. What you are looking at is data, not a ground model — any interpretation of what lies between the holes is yours to make and defend.
The same principle explains why Surface mode on the workspace GIS Map is scoped to a single investigation: interpolating across unrelated ground logs would produce a surface that means nothing.
